Marketing Your Team at a Target Audience

Students formed teams One class supported the Republican campaign while one supported the Democrats. Students identified target audiences of campaign ads and then used Photoshop and Premiere to campaign for their team's candidate. Students used preexisting commercials to learn to splice videos. They also watched the debate speeches and edited them to fit their end projects. They created print ads using Photoshop and finally Illustrator to generate a team logo for their production company. The advanced students created 2D animation ads using Animate. The final work was placed on their team Twitters for the school to vote based on advertisement stratagem. Materials: We have a lab of 10 MacBooks and iMacs. The videos were all gleaned from Youtube, CNN, and FoxNews.
