Copyright Law

I can't remember but I think I got the University of Washington link from Judy Durkee. I get a lot of stuff from her. She is an AMAZING resource. Thanks Judy!. I also use the article from the Harvard Law Review on Shephard Fairey and the Hope Poster case. They all know the work and the discussion over whether it's a copyright violation or not can be really interesting. It's not as tough a read as you might think and I break up the kids into partners, assign them a section, do a partner read and then report back. IT's easier to scaffold that way. There is an NYT article online that then describes the outcome of the trial.
