Use this unit to introduce your students to the interface, terminology, and basic panels in Illustrator, work with swatches to manage colors in an Illustrator document, understand and work with layers, and save and export files.
Unit 2: Illustration
Adobe Illustrator allows designers to create visually compelling artwork that can be scaled without losing quality. Use this unit to introduce students to the drawing, shape, and text tools in Illustrator.
Unit 3: Editing graphics
Unit 4: Publishing
Different mediums - print, web, and video - require different file formats. This unit teaches students how to generate appropriate image and graphic file formats for these mediums.
