Mythical Critter Photoshop Composite Project by marcia blanco Mar 28, 2017 Products Adobe Stock Photoshop 0 0

This is one of my favorite projects. Students use their newly honed PS skills at selecting, masking and blending to create their own mythical critter out of 2-3 high res images of animals (humans work as well.) Part I: Creating the critter: Students combine images of several different animals using non-destructive selecting and masking techniques to create their own unique mythical critter. Part II: Students create a habitat for their critter using several landscape images and providing any extra way-out celestial effects that they wish. They need to keep in mind their critter's adaptations (a really fuzzy, winged mammal that breathes fire probably would not thrive in an undersea environment. There has to be some logic to this.) Part III: Students write an essay, David Attenborough like, to describe their critter's adaptations and behavior: mating habits, what they eat, how they bear their young, etc. They need to create a Latin name as well as a common name for their critter.

document on the making of Cosmic Abuse : Part 1. Project by jason washburn Mar 24, 2017 Products Story Portfolio 0 0

This is a compilation of behind the scenes shots from the making of Cosmic Abuse part 1. The beginning was shot on Mt. Quandary Colorado making our way to the top and on the top. Other parts of this documentary are the discussion with the cast about the script. Out takes of certain scenes. Me giving a commentary while constructing the set at various stages of development. The model building or me giving directions to the cast while shooting. This is all very raw footage not very seamless but you get the feel of how it was made . Ending with comment on Israeli and Palestinian scene. Enjoy Jason S. Washburn

The Inside Out Project Project by Sherri Kushner Mar 24, 2017 Products Photoshop 0 0

This project was designed as a collaboration between me and my school drama teacher. Inspired by artist JR’s global art project, our students created these large-scale photos to speak back to community stereotypes. Students worked in groups to discuss issues of identity and representation, then developed mission statements for the project to frame the photo installation. Each student posed for a photo expressing one of the mission statements. Students used Adobe Photoshop to edit and resize their images, type their mission statements, then assemble the layout of their photos for the installation. After printing the posters, students wheat-pasted the photos onto walls throughout the school. The goal was for students to discover and celebrate who they are as a school community while speaking out against misconceptions to turn stereotypes inside out.

3D Printed Keychains using Illustrator and Photoshop CC Project by Jessica Campbell Mar 24, 2017 Products Photoshop Illustrator 21 1

This video tutorial will walk you through the steps to create your very own custom 3D printed keychain. You'll design your keychain in Illustrator, then bring your design into Photoshop where you can extrude it for 3D printing. Now that Photoshop CC includes direct support for 3D printers such as Makerbot, making unique 3D printed projects is super easy. I'll also show you how to export your file for printing with other brands of printers as well.

Working with type in Illustrator Digital Asset by Fred Benitez Mar 22, 2017 Products Illustrator 50 0

I use this file as a way to reinforce early users on using type in Illustrator. The file introduces using type on a path, area type tool, and adjusting type layouts. I added two challenges in the file (with tips in hidden layers) as a quick way for students to test their abilities and for teachers to easily gauge who has learned the content. I hope you find this helpful.

candid commentary of making "Way Out There" Assessment by jason washburn Mar 21, 2017 Products Photoshop Story 9 0

This is an emotional commentary on the work and effort in making this film. I owe apologies to some for the time it has taken to complete this projects. This has been a long project and many years have passed from when I started and the completion. I have gone thru some changes in life in the process and I do not think the same now as when I began this work. I need to thank all the people who helped me out in the making of this and want to acknowledge their support . Film making has taught me an important lesson in respect and treating others well and fairly, not that I always do this or have done so but over time it becomes clear how important it is in working with others. I have made no money shooting my films and do it simply because I really like to do so. Jason S. Washburn

This is a walk thru of the move set for "Way Out There" It show the set and talks about the different types of materials used- most of which were recycled. It is some commentary and talking about the plot. I shot this film overt twenty years ago and did not get around to finishing it but a few years ago. So you can see me when I was a lot younger . Here is some more to think about . I love to shot films and love to talk about shooting films. All the Best - Enjoy. Jason S. Washburn
