As the year winds down, we have had many great resources shared here on the Ed Exchange, some found and others created by our members. Which ones stand out as the best resources this year? Why not comment and we can compile a shortlist of the best of the best?
The "flipped classroom" is a very popular trend in education at the moment. More and more teachers are using online video/multimedia content as a prerequisite for lessons, allowing class time to be opened up for more constructivist engagement. This type of approach seems particularly well suited to technology/design disciplines which require both hard skills (hardware, software etc.) and soft skills (critical awareness, collaboration, teamwork etc.). I am currently researching this area and was just wondering if anyone is actually currently using this approach in their tech/design classroom, as I am?

I use a number of Adobe mobile apps on both iOS and Android devices. I also use both a Mac and a number of Windows computers. I have put together a weblog post covering how I currently display the contents of these mobile devices (such as Adobe Comp CC or Adobe Voice) when presenting to students and others.
This resource contains the presentation I delivered titled 'Designing for Community Engagement' on Tuesday 23rd June 2015. Please use it as a guide for ways to use Adobe Software to design engaging learning experiences and for ideas to connect with your local community. The resource includes interactive links, example activities and projects as well as guides. I hope it is useful Kind regards Jess
Hi all, If anyone is using Adobe programs in Years 7, 8 or 9 with the new National Curriculum, would you mind sharing your ideas? As far as I can see, we need to have a focus on programming. I'd like to see what everyone is doing. I'm going to miss using Photoshop and the like in the Junior Secondary years. Thanks for your help!

I am thinking about having students use more tablet based apps to develop supporting materials for assignments. I am curious how others are using various Adobe iPad apps in their classrooms. Examples would include Adobe Voice, Photoshop Touch, Lightroom Mobile, Adobe Revel, and Adobe Ideas. Do you have specific assignments or do you see students using some of these apps in a more organic manner to complete assignments? If not yet, do you have specific plans for the next semester? It would be great to know how others are using these apps for education. Best always,Mark

I am looking for teachers who are implementing classroom projects in the elementary school classroom where students are using Adobe software applications. If your students are currently using Adobe software applications I hope that you will post a comment to this discussion. I would like to know: 1) What grade level the students; 2) What products the students are using; 3) How many workstations are loaded with the software applications; 4) How was the software purchased; school or district funding, grant written by central district personnel, grant written by the teacher, software purchased by the teacher with own money, software donated by a company 5) What type of project are the students working on; 6) What other type of information concerning this discussion would you like to share? I believe that a discussion like this may help provide teachers the information needed to help justify technology purchases.
