I have been approached by my administrator to consider replacing the Mac computers in my classroom with PC. The Technology department does not like maintaining the Mac lab. I would like to get some feedback regarding current industry standards. What are you using in your classroom/business? Is Mac still the goto graphics platform? Thanks for your input.

This is just a fun question. Does anyone else share their Adobe Education Exchange status or badges on social network? I know it's silly and teachers use the same sort of award system to motivate children but I am a sucker for Leveling Up! Happy Sharing! Dan

I started thinking the other day that I wanted to share teaching materials but didn't know where to start. I'm not sure which topics are over covered or which ones are difficult to find information on. What are your thoughts? Looking for inspiration. If I have knowledge that others may be seeking then it will provide a good starting point.

3D Virtual Reality Discussion by Jose Pause Carrero Apr 14, 2018 Products Typekit Acrobat Adobe Stock

Virtual reality is the top trend hitting consumer by storm. I have already noticed all amusement parks are gearing and adding 3D VR into their rides for the virtual experience. I have also noticed education taken spill for the direction with education and incorporating it in an engaging way for students. When studying foreign lands and times from long age a virtual world and realm can allow them to travel and even time travel. Similar to simulator program on star trek the next generation giving the crew members a real world experience as they left the star ship to a distant land and time. The possibilities for education are endless imagine the whole class studying from a space up close from a starship or a space stations window. I have been working and developing ideas to construct through projects based off the Adobe creative cloud and all its applications to bring my virtual world to life. Although I have several worlds in a brainstorm which await fruition it is a very broad virtual world to think I can create subject ideas with story lines with an entire virtual world to support the environment created for the 3D viewer. Hopefully my thread can bring the help to create these Virtual worlds they we all may share as a vision from our childhood fantasies of what the future would hold with virtual reality engaging in a 3D environment. In my development of my 3D virtual worlds which are under construction and simply brainstorms at this moment I am sorry if I have no sample work available, which is soon to come. I will keep you posted on my efforts, currently developing and working through Vive HTC 3D virtual reality. A system with VR head gear to infuse you into a real world 3D environment with the help of high end processors and high performance video cards. The next level of PC gaming is the 3D VR experience infused into gaming as well several other real world experiences. If there are any interests and related trend setting insgiht feel free to reach out thank you and stay blessed.

My main topic is how I can I be of support and help to any on any digital project which can range from the course to beyond the course? I have an extended network as a resource in the professional community which are Adobe based from all walks of life around the globe. So I welcome anyone that may be of support instruction or even beta testing on start up projects for teaching and including materials. As well suggestions for lesson plans from digital to live in the field recording and documenting along the way. Digitally taking the learning beyond the classroom. If this sounds like something that peaks your interest feel free to reach out. I also have a question for you how has the Adobe education exchange and the digital learning curve work for you? As well progress with your students and is there a steeper slope when considering your students?
