Recording of my Adobe webinar on using the restriction method The restriction method is a really valuable technique for encouraging creative thinking, problem solving and boundary-less play. Placing restrictions on tasks or processes can open up entirely new approaches to skills, techniques or ideas. It's seems counter-intuitive but it is a great way to help kick-start creative thinking. How many different ways could you animate the same image? I set myself this challenge in 2015 and I am still finding heaps of new ways of doing it (and developing new skills) https://www.behance.net/gallery/29859911/CMYK-Self-Portraits https://www.behance.net/gallery/25274205/GIF-Self-Portraits

Hello Educators! I am sure everyone has sat in a boring meeting or professional learning session in the past where the presenters would just talk and read off the slides they have up on the screen for hours on end.. I was hoping to seek exciting strategies and ideas to engage staff during professional learning sessions. What successful strategies have you used in the past to engage with staff? How did you measure their engagement?

Who would you choose and why? Discussion by Dimitri Merritt Jan 14, 2015 Products Acrobat Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe Connect 4.2k 13

Traditional teaching vs Techno geek I was in a meeting today and was confronted with a question…. Before I pose the question, let me give you some background to what the department is up to. The department wants to move away from traditional teaching and more into eLearning. They had a lot of questions (which I have heard before) … BUT this one garbed me … and it was quite an interesting one … Who would I select, to be in an eLearning team …. a traditional teacher or a Techno geek? Before I tell you what I told them (as there is no right or wrong here), I would love to hear what you think and why?
