Adobe Photoshop: Making Faces

Lesson Plan Published 2/18/19 Last updated on 4/3/19

A fun introduction to using basic Adobe Photoshop editing tools and processes to create an image of a face.

I used this with aged 12-13 students to teach them how to combine images in a realistic way. This was the first time they used Adobe Photoshop. The resource outlines the step by step development process and can be used as a presentation or a classroom hand out.

My students spent two x hour long lessons creating their faces, but this could easily have been extended with the introduction of more complex tools.

The students sourced their own celebrity images.

There were many humorous outcomes which the students enjoyed creating.

Have a go and please let me know what you think. Also open to suggestions for improvement :)
