Concept Map - Editing Video Offline Using Proxy Media

Technical Tutorial Published 11/16/18 Last updated on 2/28/20

A concept map that guides an instructor to teach offline video editing using proxy media.

Intellectual Instruction Goal: Teach an intermediate user of Adobe Premiere Pro CC how to edit high-resolution video offline by transcoding and attaching low-resolution proxy media files. This workflow enables video editing and playback on workstations that would otherwise drop frames due to inadequate processing power.
