Photoshop Photo Collage

Assessment Published 1/22/18 Last updated on 2/29/20

My Visual Design curriculum follows along with the Learn Adobe Photoshop Text. I like to sprinkle fun projects throughout to allow students to be spontaneous in using their skills.

After chapter 3, using only the tools learned thus far in the course, students create a Photo Collage reflecting a day in their life at Chippewa Valley Technical College.

Assignment Text:

All of the activities we have been completing have prepared us for this Collage Project. There will be student work time in class. To excel at this assignment, you will want to utilize time outside the classroom to apply the skills you've learned to your project.

Collage: I am looking at the elements in the rubric, how you are using your tools, manipulating the images, using features, implementing your own style, the polished looked you were able to arrive at, and the quality of professionalism.

Reflection: The reflection is a one-page paper following academic standards of 1.5 spacing, size 11 type. I am looking for you to articulate the design elements and principles, as well as the tools, features, and manipulations you used in the project.

Worth: 70 point collage / 30 point reflection

Due: Date prior to class starting

I do a collage in my classes, too. It is always interesting to see how another teacher works. Thank you for the materials.
