Digital Matte Painting

Digital Asset Published 10/16/18 Last updated on 10/16/18

Hi, I noticed that adobe don't have a lot of resources for digital painters like myself. I decided to add a digital book I owned for matte painting as for of adding more resources for those who want to enhance on digital painting. I do a lot of comic art and use Photoshop to do a lot of my comic art and at times I use it in conjunction with other software like Sketchbook Pro or Corel Painter and lets not forget Illustrator. I think this is a great book it has helped me a lot from creating the right brushes for sketching or painting to composition.

If you are interested in learning more about digital painting and would like to see more or need help please leave a comment and I would continue to add more as requested.

Hope everyone enjoys the book as much as I do and happy drawings my friends.

P.S. if you do any digital painting please post, I would love to see them.

Tanks for your well considered response to all of my questions

Have you ever considered perhaps we could set up a digital painting community here on the exchange

i think there is a good deal of interest in this topic in the general design community as well as students

Hi Mick,

Sorry for the delay response, but I wanted to thank you for your comments and I am glad you enjoyed the post. I noticed that their is really not much on digital art so I wanted to add and see what type of response I would get. If you like the resources/digital book I added another post providing you with some brush sets that I use for my work available to download for free.

If you like to see more or a tutorial on how I do things let me know as I am trying to see how I can bring more of this topic into Exchange.

Thank you again and I hope this items help with your digital art.
