Solar System - An Introduction (iBook)

This intro to our Solar System is leveled for elementary students in grades 3 - 5. The inner planets, outer planets, asteroids, meteoroids and meteors are introduced with multimedia, auto-graded assessments and 3-D objects. Students will get a first look into the way our solar system works with orbitals and relative distances.

This content is typically tested on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test given at the end of the school year for students in grade 5.  The Intro to the Solar System gives students one "Giant Step" toward understanding the inner and outer planets as well as getting a perspective on relative distances from the sun of the celestial bodies in our own universe.
