This lesson plan provides examples and steps to begin shading with the brush tool. It is intended for students who are already familiar with opening a new document in Photoshop, copying and pasting an image into Photoshop, and picking colors with the foreground color picker.

Lovely Lisa. A really well put together resource and clear instructions. My young learners will love this one. The use of the monkey or similar clip art also adds fun to the activity. Well done. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks, I made this one very simple. I usually have them do much more complex cliparts or coloring pages so that it takes them longer and they get more practice. This year I'm going to try it with origami coloring pages.

Thanks you. I tend to do this for all of my assignments so that the ones who can simply follow directions can go ahead, leaving me available to help the ones who are a bit more needy.
