Eat Your Veggies PSA

Lesson Plan Published 5/20/14 Last updated on 3/2/20
Turn your classroom into a Public Service Announcement studio. Students will learn to evaluate effective PSAs through a guided watching activity. Students will work on design teams contributing expertise through assigned roles. Teams will build vegetable-themed PSAs using researched facts, a storyboarding template, and the Adobe Voice app. As a class, students will share their work and and use a rubric to evaluate the quality of each team’s PSA.

Note: Adobe Voice can optionally connect to a variety of online services, like photo storage and video hosting services, that require account creation and are not available to users under the age of 13. If you plan to use these online service features with students under the age of 13, the teacher (and not the student) must create the online service account.
