Making Comic Art Inspired by Spiegelman's MAUS

Project Published 9/19/12 Last updated on 2/28/20
Students will create a one page, six panel autobiographical comic in the spirit of Art Spiegelman's MAUS. All instructions to complete this project can be found in the video tutorials linked below. The uploaded PSD file contains six blank panels and six extractions of the "Art Spiegelman" character from the graphic novel. These characters can be rearranged or removed according to student taste. The concepts in these tutorials can be applied in multiple contexts and are not limited to the MAUS theme. Please let me know if you have any questions!
