Use actions in Photoshop
many times can happen to us that we must implement a series of tasks to an image or series of images, what we will call batch, in order to achieve the same result. When this work requires many steps by the number of tools that we must apply, we can group them so that joints are applied automatically. This is what we call action. The actions of photographic effects are a series of steps to edit both colors, saturation, or highlights among others of a photograph of quickly.
The only thing easier than using actions is installing them on your copy of Photoshop. There are a couple of different ways to do it, but both are just as swift. Just follow these simple steps:
1 First, you'll need some actions to work.
I leave some actions with effects for pictures to download for free
2 After you've downloaded the zip file containing your actions, you'll need to unpack the contents of the file. This should reveal a new folder containing the.ATN file for your new actions.
3 If your actions panel is not activated go to window / actions
4 You can either drag this file directly into your Photoshop window, or you can use the action panel dropdown in Photoshop to select your .ATN file and load your actions.
Now that your actions are available in Photoshop
1 Select the layer you want to apply the action to.
2 Select the action you want to use from your action panel.
3 Hit the "play" button down at the bottom of the panel.
AND THAT'S IT! Whatever layer you have selected will be transformed using that action.
I leave an easy tutorial that helped me for my help understand the use of actions!
