Analysing an Artwork using Photoshop Fill Adjustment layers

Project Published 8/18/13 Last updated on 2/28/20

In this project students are required to modify an image of a famous painting so that certain aspects of it are highlighted. The highlighted areas are desaturated using the Black and White Adjustment Layer Mask. Using a brush tool students are able to recolour selected parts of the image.

Students are then required to use these images to illustrate their analysis of the painting in a Word document.

This a great clear demonstration of using adjustment layers and masks. Thank you! What did you use to create the video? Captivate?
