Spark Page: Pop Art Year 8 Project

Project Published 7/12/16 Last updated on 5/16/18

This resource is a spark page that briefly explains how to create two Pop Art inspired paintings. It is designed for art teachers to use to show students examples of other student work and a quick overview of how to get there.

This page is made to inspire the students and doesn't have detailed instructions for teachers to follow. Art teachers will be able to expand the learning from here and instruct specific details about painting and Pop Art styles to the class.

There is an extension activity for fast finishers to use Photoshop to create a print of their portraits. A quick explanation is given but the teacher will need to assist some students if they have not used Photoshop before.
