Stencil Message for T-Shirt Design

Lesson Plan Published 2/14/17 Last updated on 2/28/20

I saw a photograph somewhere my social media stream and wondered how easy it would be to recreate using Adobe Illustrator. We’ll learn a new technique, an object envelope, to distort the letters. Envelopes are objects that distort or reshape selected objects. The resulting image can be shared online, screen printed or printed out for a t-shirt heat press.

I've always wanted to design my own t-shirt. Thanks, Pete! Super easy to follow and I like the Teach Peace message and design.
