Super Easy Photoshop Lessons from Digital Art and Design

Assignment Published 6/20/15 Last updated on 4/14/19

I wanted to create a lesson to teach how to animate text in Edge Animate. But since I am still very new at this myself, I instead opted for something I feel I am a little more experienced with--making GIFs.

While looking for resources to use, I found this website: Digital Art and Design It is perfect, just perfect, for students! And, I am equally thrilled about using it to hone my basic Photoshop skills.

  • Photoshop

Editing and compositing for photos, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

Hi Kamil,

The lesson plan is brief and to the point, so as not to be intimidating. I do need to upload a visual, however. I agree--these tutorials are great. I cannot wait to try them out!

I love using tutorials too because even though I'm quite familiar with many of the concepts, I don't know everything and students often need more step-by-step instructions than I have the time to create or demonstrate!

Are there any plans you have for how you would incorporate this into your class? Maybe a portfolio project where students have to choose 3 or 4 projects to complete?
