Create Composite Images Using Photoshop Mix

Technical Tutorial Published 11/12/14 Last updated on 2/28/20

Creating composite images is always a lot of fun. Opening Photoshop and taking a bit of something from one image and putting it in another image has always been an adventure. Until now this technique has been tethered to portable or desktop computers but that all changed in mid-October 2014 when Adobe released Photoshop Mix, an iOS application which allows you to create composite images using images on the iPad or stored in the Creative Cloud. Once those images are done, you can send them back to your Creative Cloud account and … here is where it gets really neat .. open them in Photoshop for further refinement. Here's a quick "How To:"

  • Photoshop

Editing and compositing for photos, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

  • Photoshop Mix

    Creative mobile image editing.
