Photoshop basics for little guys

Project Published 2/20/13 Last updated on 7/20/18

This is a project that is designed to teach the basic fundamentals of of Photoshop for younger students and first time users. This will allow the students to gain a grasp of how to work in layers and use some basic tools and keyboard funtions. This project has proven to work very effectivly for students at seven years of age and adults using Photoshop for the first time.

  • Photoshop

Editing and compositing for photos, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

1+ Week
Creativity and Innovation, Technology Operations and Concepts

The students will need access to a computer (ideally with a mouse)
with a version of Photoshop extended. It is of benefit if the computer has internet
so the students have the capacity to search online, however this is not 100% necessary.

Thank you for sharing. Even freshmen students who have no background will be eager to learn the basics of Photoshop.

Thanks I have changed the font to a more simple to read format. If you double click on the pictures they will come up full size.

I think you have some good stuff on your website but it is really hard to read with the font so small and ed. It is likely some student were part of this design, but ugh.
