CROPPING STRATEGIES

This handout will introduce the user to a variety of cropping options. The students will crop out several areas of a given image before they decide which crop will meet the needs of the assignment. This lesson teaches the student to think of an image in terms of impact on the viewer, using visual cues to convey a message to the audience.
