Pieces of Flair Tutorial

Technical Tutorial Published 8/7/12 Last updated on 2/28/20
Students learn how to manipulate layers and add layer styles while expressing their own creativity on "Pieces of Flair." Students also learn how to prepare and save an image with transparency for the web.

My kids love this tutorial; I assign them 10 buttons, and they can express themselves while still learning the basics of Photoshop.

What a great idea. I can see the students would really get engaged, especially those who think you have to know how to draw to be an artist.
