Project Published 8/6/16 Last updated on 8/2/18
Create and Design New Desktop Gremlins and construct them (make them pop-up)
OBJECTIVE: You are going to create and design 3 NEW desktop gremlins and construct them (cut them out and show them in a 3D format).
AUDIENCE: You will decide on the audience and what age group you want to target.
PRODUCTION PARAMETERS: You are going to CREATE 3 NEW characters and there environment, you must have some sort of background or scenery that involves the NEW characters you are going to create. The characters can be for different events, holidays, time periods, etc. The characters can be human to science fiction. The character designs must be able to cut them out with a scissor or x-acto blade and be put together with a slot and tab systems. You will also write the directions on how to put your NEW characters together. As seen on there web site*. NO GLUE OR TAPE ALLOWED FOR ASSEMBLY! You will present the 3 NEW CHARACTERS in a flat format and you will also construct them as well for presentation. The Characters can be no bigger than 7” wide (base or background/environment) and 4” tall. For the pop-up use a thick sheet of paper so it will not fold or bend while it is in it’s pop-up format. Each NEW CHARACTER MUST FIT ON A TABLOID SHEET SIZE (11”x17” or 12”x18”).
