This is a lesson to the Introduction of the Website Design process and using InDesign to create an Interactive prototype. Students will be able to understand and begin to use the website design process to design a 2 page interactive website layout in InDesign with a topic of choice. For students to complete the project they would most likely need 2-3 classes approximately 1 hour in length or longer depending on the depth of the completed project.

Teacher/Instruction:
Introduce how InDesign can be used to create an Interactive Website Prototype.

Show and navigate through this Interactive PDF resource that is also an example of an interactive website prototype while explaining the topics of website page elements, wireframes , site map, prototype, and hyperlinks.

Activity:
Have the students start researching and collecting images for their website design.
Once they have chosen a topic for their website design, they can begin the process of sketching and using this resource as reference to create their Interactive website prototype.
