Curriculum lessons for Fall Semester

Curriculum Published 8/21/16 Last updated on 5/16/18

Attached are four different sets of lessons for my computer classes grades 3-8. I try to follow these plans, but often times I find that I need to spend more time on a concept or skill and it throws off the entire schedule - ah, but that is the fun in teaching! I use interactive .pdf files so that I can access the many different resources that I want to show my students. All the sheets were creatied using tables in InDesign. They are designed to be printed on A3 paper, but will also fit Tabloid-size paper.

I see my students three times per week. 1.25 hours per session. Last year I had them 3 times per week, 2 hours per session.

Hi Mrs. Durkin,

Thank you for the resources, however, I was wondering how often do you see your students? Do you see them every day for the week or is it twice a week?

This is amazing. Thank you so much for sharing!!! I'm switching to high school graphic design this year from 7th grade art. Would you be willing to share your lessons as well? I can swap you my 7th grade google slides, lessons, and materials if you are interested! I'm based in NYC.

To see lessons and sequencing, go to my class website: ibst.world

It is not as organized as it has been in years past.

School started here on August 7th, so I am going full tilt.
