Learners today are utilizing social media on a daily basis. This lesson invites students to think critically about their use of social media and visualize this usage through Adobe tools.

Note: For one week to one month prior, students should track there usage of social media in a journal.

Day One

Use data on social media to create tables in Indesign (social media types, hours a day, purposes of utilization)

Use Photoshop to create images and to edit visual representations

Use Illustrator to create infograpics from the data and visuals in Photoshop

Publish and share with class. Display for an audience.

    Editing and compositing for photos, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

  • Illustrator

    Create beautiful vector art and illustrations.

  • InDesign

    Craft elegant layouts at your desk or on the go.

I agree with the AEE Team. This is a great idea, but lacks resources.

HI David

This seems like a really, really interesting project. Do you have any additional resources or possibly an example to go along with this? The description gives some detail but a more comprehensive lesson plan or guide would be really helpful for someone to do this in their classroom, as a I think many educators would be interested in doing.
