Introduction to icons design

This lesson plan covers the introduction of computer icons explaining where do they come from and how they are being used.
Students will learn to identify the function of the icons and to be able to differentiate an operational icon and a program icons.
Student will be taught the skills to develop icons with Adobe Illustrator and to learn how to use the gradient, pen, effect tools to develop a 3D icon.
