Introducing Premiere Pro CC

Assignment Published 5/6/16 Last updated on 2/28/20

This is a professional development training session plan covering the basics of Adobe Premiere Pro. At the end of this three-hour session participants will be able to successfully create, edit, publish and share a short video project using existing video clips and images.Participants will be able to identify and demonstrate knowledge of the tools needed to apply transitions, title credits, color adjustments and effects to their projects.

Additional assets include a sample introductory email designed to introduce the product (via video) and survey the skill or experience levels of the participants. This initial communication also describes the learning objectives and specific product skills we will be covering in our session. This sample communication is specific to my own program, and also includes an additional link to our current undesirable promotional video. One of the goals of this session is to improve on the existing promotional video.

These assets are geared towards my own program, but may easily be modified to fit your own.

(This is an introductory level course. No prior experience is assumed but a basic knowledge of the internet and basic understanding of digital technologies will be useful. )
