Description

Google Doodles are highly popular amongst high-school students

http://www.google.com/doodles

A project for the ICT class using Adobe Illustrator:
1) Tell students to have a look at the Google Doodle website
2) Tell students they have to choose three of their favourite Google Doodles. Why did they chose them? What aspect of the doodle do they like them the most?
3) Now students have to design their own Google doodle. Tell them it has to be the first step of a bigger project for Google. The Google doodle will be animated but their job is merely to show the first design to the company.
4) Tell students they have to present their Google doodles in the classroom. What does this Google doodle mean? What is the message behind it?

Fun idea. Seems like it would be very relevant to middle school students.
