This lesson didn't allow students be show their creativity, it was shown to them. If the students had had the opportunity to create a mnemonic device then creativity assessment would apply. There are no guided questions for creativity.
Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally: Order of Operations

In this lesson, students view a short, fun video to learn about the order of operations using a mnemonic device. Then, they practice applying the order of operations to solve equations of various degrees of difficulty.
Note: This lesson is intended to be used in a flipped classroom setting. It works best when students have access to devices both at home and in class. It can easily be modified to work in other contexts as well. See the differentiation suggestion that follows.
Learning Objectives
Students will be able to:
Define the order of operations
Apply the order of operations to solve equations of varying difficulty
