Creating the 'Old Film' Style Look in Premiere Pro CC

Technical Tutorial Published 8/24/15 Last updated on 3/2/20

This is a short tutorial to show you how to use the standard tools in Première Pro to create an old style look. However, please note that to do this properly you will need to allow lots of time for the project to render as it uses quite a lot of heavy effects (fx)!

  • Adobe Premiere Pro

Edit media in its native format and create productions for film, TV, and web.

Age Levels
Content Standards
Video Communication with Adobe Premiere Pro
ISTE Standards
Students: Computational Trainer, Students: Knowledge Constructor

None other than the footage you want to change and allow time for the end product to render as the effects used can make the render times quite long!
