Movie Poster Design Project

Project Published 2/1/17 Last updated on 6/29/18

Have you ever imagined your name in lights, on the marquee of a grand theater? The red-carpet treatment as you exit your car? Maybe even your own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame? In this challenge project, make yourself into a star by creating your own movie poster. With a little lights, camera, and some Photoshop action, you can be the star of your own show. This final challenge project in the Photoshop curriculum is also an excellent opportunity to practice ALL of the amazing skills you've learned as you prepare to take your Adobe Certified Associate exam! So REALLY challenge yourself to think outside the box and use as many techniques as you can, to give yourself the best review possible.

This project is an extension that pairs with Project 8 from the Photoshop CC 2015 curriculum at

  • Photoshop

Editing and compositing for photos, web and mobile app designs, 3D artwork, videos, and more.

Love the Bingo card idea! I use ACATestPrep but missed it somehow. Thanks for posting.

This project is really challenging. However, it also helps in preparing for the Adobe Certified Associate exam!
