Enhancing Online Courses with Photoshop

This is a lesson plan for the Enhancing Online Courses with Photoshop Workshop. The purpose is to train faculty and /or Staff of Distance Education Departments of a Higher Education Institution in the use of Photoshop to design multimedia content (graphics, highlight content, etc) for their online courses. The plan includes details for the workshop including direct instruction, guided instruction and independent practice. Also, a session opening and closing. The duration of this one session is 5 hours total. Tools and functionalities will be discussed. As support material, you will find a video of a basic introduction on creating a Photoshop Session and some examples of actual content created for Online courses in Business, Engineering, Science, Math and Humanities Schools. This examples are within a PDF Portfolio as a Showcase

The following materials and equipment is required for this resource:

1. Computer

2. Photoshop Software

3. Internet connection

4. Course chunk content (selected by subject matter expert)

5. USB Drive or CD to safe projects as demos
