This is section one of a three section workshop on Desktop Publishing with Adobe InDesign.

In section one of the course we will look at the Adobe InDesign user interface, tools and menus. By the end of this section participants will be able to customize the workspace for different tasks and identify best practices for setting-up documents for various end-uses, including discussion of project planning strategies. Basic text and object handling skills will be practiced through hands-on tasks.

Additionally, we will look at Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop and learn how these tools fit with and enhance our use of InDesign.
