Adobe Photoshop CS5: How to create a new document

Technical Tutorial Published 6/24/10 Last updated on 4/9/17
When you create a new document in Adobe Photoshop CS5, you set options such as resolution, color type, and size. Your choices depend on the type of image you're creating. Although you can change these options later, setting them right at the beginning is best. Teach your students how to do so with this technical guide.

This student technical guide is part of the Adobe Visual Design: Foundations of Design and Print Production curriculum, Project 2: Logos.

a little disappointed that this counts as a resource... its a major button on the beginning welcome screen and also an essential part of opening any PSD document...
