I just did the recent update in Photoshop CC to 2015.5 and again for the third time i can't open images in photoshop while right clicking, the possibility for photoshop is missing. Again i searched the internet all over and decided this time to collect all infos about this issue and get them together in a explanation that is supposed to be understood by every one. Fix the missing option in Window to open files in Photoshop after updates
The solution is a simple Windows Registry fix.
1. Go to Start and in the Search box type either regedit or regedt32 to open the Registry Editor
2. Navigate to the following registry key:

from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015.5(64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" (so change in this case CC2017 to the update CC2018 - and now you see 'Adobe Photoshop CC' in the 'Open with' list when right-clicking an image
