Six tips for getting the right shot and using it in a video.

From video lectures to oral history projects, so called “talking head” or “instructional” video clips can make a great addition to your teaching practice. Getting started is as simple as shooting some footage and then editing it to add simple transitions and remove bloopers. This workshop will explore the art of shooting better video through six simple tips from a real-world filmmaker, and then show you quick steps you can take to edit video with Adobe Premiere Pro CC.

Over the course of this workshop, you’ll:

  • Discover essential steps for shooting good talking head or instructional videos.
  • Use Premiere Pro to edit out mistakes, add transitions, and incorporate B-roll to maximize viewer engagement.
