If you’ve completed the workshop Digital Media & Learning: Photo Essays, you’ll know that photographic images can be a powerful medium for conveying information, different perspectives, historical evidence, and emotions. In this workshop, you’ll explore ways that interactive multimedia can capture students’ interest and draw them into exploring a topic in detail. The interactive collage you create could be a great instructional tool or — for students with digital media skills — a creative research project.

Learning Outcomes:

In this workshop, you’ll:

  • Explore the potential of interactive multimedia for teaching and learning.
  • Understand best practices for creating effective and engaging interactive learning objects.
  • Create your own audiovisual interactive collage and share it on the Adobe Education Exchange.

Prerequisites:

Basic image-editing skills assumed in either Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.
