In this workshop you’ll consider ways to structure and manage your classroom to foster and catalyze creativity. You’ll prepare for the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when teaching lessons that promote creativity. You’ll also learn processes for developing and managing a sustainably creative classroom culture. Then, you’ll showcase your personal vision of a creative classroom space using Adobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Essential Question:

What practices and strategies can I implement that will infuse my classroom with a creative culture?

Learning Objectives:

  • Learn options for managing the physical classroom space for a more creative workflow.
  • Prepare for the unique challenges and opportunities that arise when teaching lessons that promote creativity.
  • Learn how other educators foster creativity in their classrooms.
  • Define the behaviors that facilitate creativity in the classroom.
  • Design a creative classroom space using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements.

Prerequisites:

No prior experience with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements is assumed. You may wish to first take other workshops in this series. See related content.
