This free short introductory course is aimed at getting educators started with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
Do you have an interest in digital imaging? Would you like to know more about how to get the most from Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator? If you are at the very start of your journey or wish to refresh and update your skills, this is the course for you. We’ll cover the basics about getting set up and getting started with the tools. Our expert tutors are all outstanding teachers in their relative fields of excellence and have many years experience teaching both students and teachers to use Adobe tools. You will be supported by the learning community and our team to ensure you can move on from this short course with confidence and a new set of digital skills.
Maybe you are keen to understand the difference between vector and bitmaps images and learn the basics of digital image making. This professional learning course will develop your understanding of how to enhance, create, edit and publish different image formats for both print and screen. The projects you create will serve as models for you to create or update your curriculum and sample assignments you can bring back to the classroom.
This short course is part of a series of Adobe Generation Professional Skill Builder courses designed to help educators to start using Adobe tools to become creators, not just consumers, of digital media. Throughout the series, you’ll learn new tools and techniques, explore best practices for teaching and learning, and unleash your creativity to help drive student outcomes. Drop in for one or engage in many, but we guarantee this series will help you and your students take your digital skills and creativity to the next level.
This is an introductory level course.
