Adjust Easing Along a Motion Path in Adobe Animate

Technical Tutorial Published 11/6/19 Last updated on 3/2/20

This is a video tutorial that shows how to use the custom easing function within Adobe Animate to create an animation of a car which will slow down as it goes around a curve.

While this video is designed for a novice Adobe Animate user, there is still the expectation that you will understand the basics of Adobe Animate prior to watching this video. Prior knowledge of the timeline, how to utilize the drawing tools are required. I made this video for students in my Middle School Animation class. I based the tutorial off of a lesson from this website

I hope this helps, Adobe Animate is a lot of fun, being able to adjust the easing of a tween adds a realistic touch to your animations.
