Create and Teach Infographics in the Classroom

Project Published 5/15/19 Last updated on 6/6/19

Infographics are a fantastic medium for visually explaining information and telling digital stories - they're not only an engaging and fun method for telling data-based stories, but also an excellent way to involve students in research, data analysis, graphic design and creative problem solving.

Here are the details of an Adobe Illustrator infographics project modelled by Florida-based middle school teacher Jess Campbell, provided as part of the Infographics course on the Adobe Education Exchange.

Please find attached Jess' explanation of her project, and everything you'll need to get started creating a similar project in your own classroom.

Thank you for sharing your lesson resources, Jess. What a great project for your students. I work in a Corporate setting with adults, and I'm thinking I may be able to use this as a team-building exercise in small groups. Thanks for the inspiration!

That is an awesome idea! Maybe I might use it as a getting to know you activity next year... like survey our class and represent the data graphically. How many seniors, how many career interests, etc.

A very comprehensive and academic resource, it suits the high students more IMHO. Thanks
