One Per Day (keeps stock images away!)

Assessment Published 10/5/18 Last updated on 10/5/18

For this assessment students have to create one image per day over a certain period of time (which usually varies between 6-9 weeks). Students are given weekly briefings and set techniques that they need to create their images in. For example, in Week 1, as we are studying Image as Documentation, students need to create five images that represent the passing of time, and they have to use pencil drawing as their technique. Students can choose any subject that they will observe over the course of a week (maximum) and draw each stage of the transformation. A detail of themes and techniques is attached.

Students submit their images through their Behance Profile. They are encouraged to create one project per week and submit the images each day. Each image should be accompanied by technical information, caption and a small reflection on the process.

Students are assessed on experimentation with the topics and techniques, consistency of publication, and depth of their reflections.
