Great rubric. I printed it out on 11x17 paper and posted it in three places in the computer lab. I like the fact that it is short and sweet and easy to understand. Students don't use rubrics that are complicated. This one is perfect.

Holy cow! What an awesome rubric this is. I downloaded this, changed it a bit to accomodate for the project my students were doing and it worked perfectly. I could not have asked for a better rubric.

Thanks for posting this, we all struggle with how to create good rubrics for creative pieces. One thing we have found helpful is to have the rubric use the same terms and order as in the assignment given, rather than generic terms. this helps keep the students focused and makes the rubric much easier for them (and the teachers) to understand as well, taking as much subjectivity out of them as possible.

Nice! Thanks for sharing Dena and welcome to the Exchange!

I'm sure this rubric would also map to many other state's content standards.
