My Role Model

Lesson Plan Published 5/20/14 Last updated on 5/16/18
Students create a video that identifies a role model in their lives and characteristics they admire about that person.

Note: Adobe Voice can optionally connect to a variety of online services, like photo storage and video hosting services, that require account creation and are not available to users under the age of 13. If you plan to use these online service features with students under the age of 13, the teacher (and not the student) must create the online service account.

I like the activity. If we ever get iPads, I'll try this out :)

however, I was wondering if a longer video is a better video as today people lose interest in videos if they are too long. I like the example of "Grandfers", but I stopped it in the middle. So I think a long video is not necessarily a better video than a shorter and maybe more focused one.

A fabulous activity outline that was very thorough. I will modify this task for a unit I am currently working on but will definitely use your rubric. Thank you for sharing this. I now have a really solid idea on how to go about introducing Voice into my own classroom.
