The information and documents look great but do I have to get permission from you to use them; see a copyright on every page? My school uses a digital platform that I could see making a link for some of this information!

Hello Paul! The resources are available for you to use as a member of the Education Exchange and part of your instructional, teaching and learning process. Instead of sharing the resources, suggest to your colleagues to create their own member profiles on the Education Exchange so they too can access the resources directly.

I would really like to learn more about Photoshop to share with my students. I have minimal experience with Photoshop, but I know there is so much more to do. I would ask the author if there are more simple and basic first projects for students. Maybe just three layers. I would modify my plans to start very basic as I teach TV Production and so those students are just starting out.

Adobe provides a large number of tutorials that go from program operations to advanced project based tutorials. Not sure what version you are using, however we have 2018CC and if you go to the Help tab in the Photoshop menu you will see a post for tutorials. This will bring you to the adobe website. In the event you have an older version just do a search on the Adobe exchange. Hop this helps.

Jill McKay

Posted on 8/9/17 7:01:19 PM Permalink

The activities refer to the Photoshop Guide. Where do I access that? Also, it asks you at one point to distribute the technical guides, but where do I get them. I guess what I am asking is where is the material to teach these activities or are these just activity suggestions? The Photoshop User Guide (found in the Adobe Learn link) doesn't seem to match up with the activities.

Adobe Education

Posted on 8/9/17 7:26:30 PM Permalink

If you click "Download All' the other four documents are the technical guides. The link to the Photoshop Guide is just for additional information. The Activity gives the step by step instructions to teach and the technical guides are the content for the students.

I'm not following this. If I click 'download all', all I get are the 4 documents that are on this page anyway! If I look at the first document "Getting started....' it does not show me where these are:

Photoshop guide: Overview of Adobe Photoshop 3.1

  • •Photoshop guide: How to create a new document 2.1

  • I was to assume, as we are 'getting started' there would be tuition on the interface. Have I got this wrong?
