About this Course

This FREE online course is aimed at all educators looking to get started using video in their classroom. You’ll explore the principles of producing video with Adobe Premiere Rush, then apply your new digital skills and create practical video projects to use in your curriculum.


This is a self-paced course (perfect for busy educators!) We’ll help guide you towards completion, but you can learn at your own pace as your schedule allows. Explore:

  • How using video in your curriculum can produce positive outcomes for you and your students

  • The basic technical skills to create your own video with Adobe tools (with support from expert digital media educators)

  • Ideas for integrating video projects into your curriculum. You’ll get a collection of teaching materials for use with your students


What will I receive when I complete this course?

Successful graduates of this course will receive a certificate accrediting 3 hours of professional development, as well as a digital badge.


What do I need to get started?

No prior experience with Adobe tools or digital media technologies is required. In this course we’ll be starting from scratch and introducing the following tool:

The course is self-paced - you’re free to work at whatever speed suits you. The course will take about 3 hours to complete, and includes:

  • Topical background information to expand your knowledge and understanding

  • Video lectures from expert educators providing a basic introduction to Adobe tools
