Hi Everyone, Background: I was ahead of schedule for one of the Adobe courses, but work meant a loss of 2 weeks, so I was glad to catch up. But on my re-engagement with the topic, I decided to visit the comments from my previous assessment submissions and came across all these extra comments. These had not come through to my email even though this had been ticked; and I am so glad I looked because I had many affirming and helpful comments. Key Point: Because course participants vary in progress over th... Read More

Hi folks It's recently come to my attention in the classes that we have, that print may not yet be dead. Our resources are designed to reflect that which is why we made the decision to develop all of our resources through InDesign rather than a purely online platform. This enables any of our content to be printed on demand, but also embedded into our LMS as well. What experiences have you had in the classroom, and what do you find is the happy medium between interactive resources and giving the students t... Read More

I have already used the Adobe Animate CC forum but not Adobe Education Exchange, so I am not sure if this is the appropriate place for such questions. However, I was told that I can get expert advice here. So my question is: does Animate CC support ES6 JavaScript fully or just ES5? Moreover, Joseph Labrecque, mentions in a 2016 article that Animate CC is a “language agnostic application”. However, I do not understand how that is the case since, if that is true, Animate CC should be able to su... Read More

Hello all,At the moment I am working on an assignment to use 360 degrees video within a production environment and use a standard 360 degrees 4k camera for this. To get everything in the picture, the employee receives a harness with the camera mounted. Is this a handy solution or do you use other options that you want to share.Regards,Henni Groomsman

Hi, kindly advise the options avaiable to obtain Adobe certification in the use of Cativate for e-learning. I will soon enter retirement and hope to generate income streams through the creation of Adobe E-learning modules. Many companies seem to require certification of some sorts to filter out the fly-by-nighters. How can I obtain an official Adobe Certifiation in order to promote my upcoming business better? I am also learning Animate CC and Illustrator. Thanks to you all. Peter

Can someone help me with this? I have always believed - and it seems to play out in application - that when you adjust the Paths in the Advanced controls dialog box that the higher the number of paths the tighter the fit. However recently I saw this on Adobe's Help site: Advanced controls Fine-tune your tracing result using advanced options in the Image Trace options. Paths Controls the distance between the traced shape and the original pixel shape. Lower values create a tighter path fitting; higher... Read More

Using Prelude to code video interviews for research

Although I have used other tools in the past, I have started coding some interviews in Prelude for a recent project. My thought process was that it would make for an easier workflow when I shifted from coding to editing in Premiere. One thing I'd like to do is export all the comment notes into a text file so I could look at them in text format. Does anyone know how to export metadata comments from Prelude? I haven't been able to find the answer online (perhaps I am using the wrong terminology...) Thanks!

How can I improve on creating good quality vectors even if I'm using a mouse? I know that you can also provide good output using a mouse on creating vectors, but can you differentiate the quality that you can produce using a mouse versus a pen tablet?

I would like to learn how to implement gamification in e-learning. Here in Eden Adobe, there are scoreboard, badges and some topics for winning points. I would like to know. 1. How is the criteria for obtaining those points in the different categories? 2. Is possible to design gasification using Adobe Captivate? 3. The Edex Platform is private just for Adobe or is it possible to buy it for applying e-learning? I appreciate if someone can give me a hand, I am researching about gasification in learning.... Hello, We are looking to remodel our Computer Science Lab. We have rows of computers on built in desktops. We want to enter the 21st Century and create a lab that can house 20-40 computers, monitors, lap tops and some desktop machines for bigger projects. I once saw in here a picture of a lab with girls sitting at a small desk used to house their laptop, as up above this area was a mounted screen. This looked really ideal. Can anyone direct me to a lab situation that is working and is ready for today&... Read More

I have a huge amount of resources that I wish to share with all of you. However, slight dilemma. A majority of these have been modified from various sources from the Internet (mostly changes in images or grammar [OMG the grammar!]I acknowledge the author on the cover page of course but unsure of whether I can share these revamped tutorials, etc?The originals are free and online!? Do you think I would be breaching the owner's copyright/any copyrights by sharing these resources? Thank you for your help.
